Kristin Fashion Show Young Designer
The Cat's Meow was a project that I took on in my final year of highschool. I was chosen as one of three students to design a mini collection for the final Kristin Fashion Show. The show was an annual event which was undertaken by students to raise money for charity. New Zealand designers showcased collections modelled by students in choreographed dances. The theme I chose for my collection was 1920's, this came at a time when due to the release of The Great Gatsby designers were exploring 1920's fashion in a modern way.
